Numbers Protocol develops a decentralized provenance infrastructure utilizing a combination of blockchain technology and computer vision algorithms within its Numbers Engine. This engine analyzes digital content – images, videos, and audio – creating a cryptographic “fingerprint” and recording its origin and modification history on a public blockchain, specifically leveraging NFT technology for content attestation. Targeting content creators, platforms, and AI developers, Numbers Protocol aims to establish a trusted data layer for verifying content authenticity and combating the spread of misinformation, and recently launched its beta mainnet in November 2023.
